tortle Omg! ewe Cockatiels are wonderful pets. They really are super people friendly, and he's only ten! that is really young for them. D: Just make sure to take it slow when he gets there. He must be a little traumatized. And if he's a little hand shy at first don't worry, it's probably just because he lost his owner recently and he'll need time. I hope everything goes well! adopting a bird is such a great thing, people are hesitant to for them.

I rang them this morning and he’s already got a new home: totally gutted. But they said they’d put me on a waiting list for anything similar that comes in.
